Halloween

Well, I am finally back...kind of. I ended up going back to the hospital for a second time...and not really anything was done. I am feeling somewhat better...but I still have days of just absolute fatigue and pain. But it seems I am having more good days than bad. So that is a good thing.

And my favorite holiday came! Halloween! I love Halloween! It is the only day I can dress up and act like a goof and it's normal! Now I don't go spend a ton of money on costumes or anything like that...I just paint my face. I get TONS of compliments and usually scare the crap out of a lot of people. But I totally love it. So wanna see what I did THIS year? Here are some pics...






Pretty cool huh? Took me a little over two hours to paint my face. Some may think that is silly or a waste of time...but I say NO WAY! I love driving down the road and looking over and seeing the people beside me staring at me in disbelief or people pointing at me...it is awesome! I even had one guy ask me where I bought my mask....and it was obviously dark and he couldn't see very well! But it was tons of fun. And for those who think it is silly... I just say...well, can YOU do that? :-)

So enough about me...what about my little boy...isn't that what Halloween is for? The kids? Well, my little man is not typical...wonder why! And he LOVES pugs for some strange reason. Seriously...he has three stuffed animal pugs that he carries around. So he wanted to be a pug. Well, they don't make pug costumes and he didn't want to be ANYTHING else...so I had to make him a costume. Now I am good at sculpting and at painting...but I am NOT the best seamstress. BUT...that being said...I think I did pretty darn good. Is it perfect? By no means...but he loved it and everyone else did as well. He even won a costume contest! So here is my little man in his pug costume....

So there you have it...us at Halloween. I hope that everyone had a great Halloween. But now...it is time for me to get back to work and get ready for the Christmas rush. Because now that Halloween is over...it is going to come fast! So I am off to work!
